Overview:






The Seasonal Intern Program in information Assurance (SIP/IA) is open to high potential college upperclassman and graduate students with a strong focus in the disciplines of Information Assurances.

Information Assurance (IA) concerns information operations that protect and defend information and information systems by ensuring availability , integrity, authentication, confidentially and non repudiation. This includes providing for restoration of information systems by incorporating protection, detection, and reaction capabilities.

Eligibility:

- A minimal grade point average of 3.0 or better required
- Must complete full twelve week or longer period work assignment - Participants work either the Summer, Fall or Spring Semester following their junior year or anytime during their post graduate
- Student must return to school for at least one semester following the internship

  Requirements:

- An Intel interview panel reviews all applicants then selects all interns.
- Applicants are screened for communication and behavioral skills, and basic mechanical and technical skills related to their degree programs.
