UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES AT SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING BASED COMPANIES

Genentech

Overview:

This is your opportunity to get acquainted with the best of the real world -- Genentech, a company that is world-renowned for its leadership in the biotechnology industry. You'll participate as a member of a project team in a research, development, manufacturing or business area that will bring relevance to your college work.

A Genentech internship means more than just working in your department. As an intern, you will make a formal presentation at the conclusion of your project. And just like the rest of the professional scientific community here, you will construct and present a poster of your project work. Working side by side with some of the most talented people in biotechnology, your networking opportunities will be unlimited. You'll experience the real world application of scientific knowledge to the treatment and cure of serious human diseases. You'll see how Genentech takes science beyond research into the development, manufacturing and marketing of recombinant DNA products. You'll work with top scientific and business talent in an atmosphere that is uniquely collegial and entrepreneurial, and consistently produces breakthrough biopharmaceutical products.

Eligibility:
