Overview:

Applied
Materials offers various internship and co-op programs designed
to provide students with hands-on experience, an opportunity
to develop skills in an area of interest and the ability
to gain knowledge about the Company and the semiconductor
industry while enhancing their education. Paid internships
and co-ops are offered throughout the Company, in multiple
divisions and vary in both duration and location.

Key duties include: Assist in designing, developing, modifying,
and/or evaluating parts, components, circuitry, modules, and/or
systems for use in/with Company products Help in developing
design methods and parameters, methodology and/or proposals
Assist in developing test procedures Participate in concept
and feasibility studies Gather operational and test data and
evaluate results Participate in the fabrication of product prototypes
Evaluate work methods, procedures and policies Preferred
- Pursuing B.S./M.S./Ph.D. level degree in an engineering discipline,
or equivalent;
- 3.0 GPA minimum
