In addition to being available in January for the following academic year, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) can also be obtained at the US Department of Education Web Site. Go to http://www.fafsa.ed.gov.
You (and your parents, if you are a dependent student) will need to obtain a pin number to be used as your electronic signature. Request a pin at http://www.pin.ed.gov. You will use this pin number for as long as you apply for financial aid, regardless of the institution you attend. Some awards are subject to availability of funds; therefore, it is highly recommended that you apply during the priority filing period between January 1st and March 2nd every year.
