
Test Schedules
Mission College is offering Year-Round Computerized Tests (English Placement, ESL Placement, Math Placement, Reading Placement, and Information Competency Exams). Appointments are not needed, students are tested on a "First Come - First Served" basis. Please report to Room: E1-101 to begin your testing.
Important Rules
- You must have a Mission College Student ID Number in order to take any test.
- Students are allowed to take the Placement Test two (2) times before enrolling in classes.
- Once you enroll in anskip navigation English, ESL, Reading, Library 10 (Information Competency), and/or Math class, you are no longer eligible to take any placement tests.
- Children, and friends, are not allowed to wait in the testing area.
- Please turn off your Cell Phone, Pager, PDA, MP3, iPod before entering the Assessment Center.
- If you are caught cheating, you will have to meet with the Dean of Student Services, and/or the Vice President of Student Services.
- If the Fire Alarm goes off: Pick-up your belongings, and go to Parking Lot "D". Await further instructions.

Beginning Monday, October 12, 2009, and running until Friday, December 18, 2009, the testing hours will be as follows (testing hours below). Please be aware that we will close on the third (3rd) Monday of each month for scheduled meetings (2:00pm to 4:00pm) - (Dates: 10/19 & 11/16). Also, every now and then, we will close for meetings which are not scheduled on a regular basis (list below). None

Below are the cut-off times for all of our tests. These are the absolute "last chance times" you can arrive to take the tests. Morning Testing Sessions (9:00am to 1:00pm) English, ESL, Pre-Calculus & Information Competency Tests - 11:25am (90 min tests) Math Tests (Level 1, 2 & 3) - 11:55am (60 min tests) Reading Comprehension - 12:25pm (30 min test) Afternoon Testing Sessions (2:00pm to 6:00pm) English, ESL, Pre-Calculus & Information Competency Tests - 4:25pm (90 min tests) Math Tests (Level 1, 2 & 3) - 4:55pm (60 min tests) Reading Comprehension - 5:25pm (30 min test)

The next testing period will take place from Mid-February to Mid-March 2010. The Schedule will be posted by the end of December 2009.
Important Rules: 1) You need to make an appointment to take the Entrance Exam. Email john_spencer@wvm.edu to schedule your appointment. Please include your Name, Student ID Number, and your choice of test dates & times (2 or 3 choices). A confirmation email will be returned to you. 2) You need to have a Mission College Student ID Number to make the appointment. We will not schedule appointments without one. 3) You are allowed to take the Entrance Exam one (1) time per application period. DO NOT MISS YOUR APPOINTMENT. 4) Do not arrive late. You will not be admitted once testing has started. It will count as your one (1) chance. 5) If you know you are going to miss your appointment, please send us an email. We can reschedule your test date (as long as you give us notice). 5) The test is administered in the Assessment Center, Room: E1-101.
