d.     Fiesta Update
The estimated cost for Mission is $3,700+.  Dianne has not seen the specs and highly recommends college input in the creation process.  The program would be menu-driven and offer reminders and help boxes.  The major difference between Mission and West Valley’s forms is that West Valley is very specific about time spent on assignments and topics.  Kara wondered if a program like this would eliminate the Tech Review Committee.  Dianne understands that once the information is in the database, it should not be difficult to tie it to something else making it easy for students and faculty to access outlines.  Dianne suggested we have a subcommittee to work on this.  Harriett’s experience with Kelly is that she is open to what others need/want and she is good at finding solutions.  Dianne presented some overheads of West Valley’s curriculum forms.  Discussion ensued about the need for listing percentages under the course content area.  The subcommittee will consist of Yolanda, Sallie, Anna, Dianne and Betty.
