CHEM 030A – distance learning was pulled for lack of paperwork and will be placed on the October 24th agenda.

A discussion ensued regarding the requirements of submitting DL courses. Issues discussed pertained to whether a DL course needed two readings for approval, when does a course revision need to accompany a DL course, and does a DL course need to be revised when the number of meetings (orientation, midterm, final, etc.) change. The CRC committee determined that DL courses should have a separate category of their own and only require one reading for approval, a course revision is only required if the original course is over 5-years old, and changes in number of meetings is not a criteria for a DL course revision.
