The Mission College Academic Senate is seeking a number of faculty members interested in serving on a Student Readiness Task Force. The charge of this task force is to gather information on the effectiveness of the college's current system of prerequisites, co-requisites, and advisories on student readiness, the currency of a prerequisite, and ultimately to make a recommendation to the Academic Senate. This task force is being formed in response to the recommendations made in the college's Accreditation Report and recommendations of the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges.

The Senate is interested in appointing faculty from all areas of the college, particularly Basic Skills, members from the Student Success Committee, Counseling, and Curriculum Review Committee.
