IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO ALL MC FULL-TIME FACULTY

The Mission College Academic Senate is seeking faculty volunteers to serve on the following administrative

Screening /Interview Committees:

#1  The Vice President of Instruction - Three faculty members will be selected from the following groups: Division Chair (Past or Present), teaching faculty, and non-teaching faculty. (The Academic Senate President has been invited to participate in the final interview with President O'Hearn, which will provide additional faculty input.)

#2 Dean of Workforce & Economic Development - The Senate is seeking two faculty members at-large.

#3 Dean of Information Technology & Services - The Senate is seeking two faculty members at-large.

In selecting the committee members for all three committees, the Academic Senate will consider the following criteria:

a) Diversity

b) Understanding of the requirements for the position

c) Objectivity

d) A commitment to devote the time and energy to this important task.

All three of the positions are currently being advertised and will close on March 5th. The committees will begin to meet in February to prepare for the interview process, which will continue through March.
