Measure H Bond Oversight Committee Tours Newly Rennovated Hospitality Management Building

On Wednesday, February 9th, the Measure H Bond Oversight Committee met at Mission College. After their regular meeting agenda concluded, they were given a tour of the newly renovated section of the Hospitality Management building.

The new section includes half of what will be the new dining room, the demonstration kitchen/display, as well as the new baking center, storage room and walk-in freezer. The dining room features new carpeting, paint, and tile accents as well as Bistro style tables and chairs, and three steerable overhead video cameras to allow all patrons to see and appreciate the meal preparations going on inside the demonstration kitchen, displayed on one of three large flat-screen monitors in the dining room. At the conclusion of the tour the committee was treated to mini carrot cakes and chocolate truffles rolled in cocoa powder or slivered almonds.

It was a VERY good meeting!
