Library Services
Use of Study Rooms

The library has six study rooms for group use. Group study is defined as two or more Mission College students simultaneously using the room in an interactive manner. Study rooms are not available for Community Users or visitors, although exceptions may be granted by a librarian or the Library Director. Study rooms are on a "first come, first serve" basis - no signups or reserving is required. Study rooms may not be held by a single person - the group must all be present to use the room.

Study rooms are numbered rooms 242 - 247. Disabled students, whether an individual or in groups of two or more persons, have priority for the use of Room 244. In the event two disabled persons, or two groups with a disabled person, desire use of Room 244, diabled persons registered with Mission College's disability Instructional Support Center will have priority.

  • Study rooms are available on a first-come, first served basis. No room holds or reservations can be made
  • Library users may not clear Study Rooms or interrupt persons using those rooms.
  • Library users may report suspected room use violations to the Check Out Desk.
  • Study Room doors should be closed when in use.
  • Library equipment (except circulating headphones) shall not be removed from any study room, nor moved into any Study Room, without Library staff authorization.
  • All equipment problems should be reported to the Check Out Desk.
