Student Library Use Privileges
While any student may use library materials in the library, borrowing privileges and off-site access to the library's electronic resources require students to be registered in the library's circulation database. Student records are downloaded weekly. If you have a question about your account, please contact the Check Out Desk at 408 855-5150.
- Books and some media generally circulate for three weeks and can be renewed, if there is no one waiting.
- Periodicals are available for use in the library only.
- Reference materials and current issues of the newspaper may be read in the library only.
- Reserve materials (including textbook reserves) and media reference materials may be used only in the library.
- Online databases licensed by the library may be accessed by all registered users from any computer with Internet access either on or off campus.
Your Mission College picture I.D. is your library card, which can also be used at the West Valley College Library. In addition
circulating items from West Valley can be sent to the Mission College library for you to check out here. Allow 3 - 4 working
days for your materials to arrive from West Valley. Holds for either Mission College or West Valley College library materials may
be placed directly by patrons using the library catalog.
For more information about loan periods and policies, please call the Check Out Desk at 408 855-5150 during the hours the library is open.
