It is one of 109 community colleges in California, the largest system of higher education in the world, serving more than 2.5 million students.

As you browse through our web site, you will discover that Mission is a comprehensive college that offers a wide array of classes, programs and services.  Each semester over 9,000 students enroll in over 1,300 day, evening, and weekend classes, many of which are available through distance learning.  We take pride in providing the highest quality instruction and support services.  We are known for the extraordinary level of personal attention that we strive to give each and every one of our students.  Our dedicated faculty and staff are committed to your success, whether you want to:

2006-07 marks Mission College’s 30th year of providing exceptional educational opportunities to our community.  Even as we celebrate our past, we are planning for your future.  We have recently renovated the third floor of the main building.  In the coming months, we will complete plans for new facilities that will provide space for laboratories, classrooms, the performing arts and student services.  As a result, our students will benefit from learning environments that are state-of-the-art.
