Welcome to Mission College!

The selection of the best community college to meet your needs is an important one. Your educational journey is as significant as any other journey you may take throughout your lifetime – because your approach to learning stays with you for a lifetime.

Mission hopes you will take that journey with us! We have excellent transfer programs and general education courses that will promote your journey to four year institutions and prepare you for higher level learning whether it is the California State System, the University System or a Private University. We also have exemplary signature programs that help to prepare you for the workforce in many areas: Nursing, Fire Technology, Hospitality Management, and many others. Mission can provide classes that will catch you up in math, English, ESL or other areas that provide foundational skills to serve you in any future courses.

Education is an opportunity that can be a friend for a long time. If you are exiting high school, Mission may provide a great transition. We have support services that can help you find the right path – great counselors, excellent Academic Resource services, and fantastic opportunities to be involved in the college community. If you are returning to retrain or retool we have career options to meet your needs. Many of us will have more than one career in a lifetime, and you may need a college that can help you find that second or third employment opportunity. It may be you are new to our area or to our country and you want to learn more through language access – or you may be coming to us with a bit of math anxiety or writing concerns. Mission College has classes, support, and tutoring to get you through!

There are many opportunities here for you at Mission. We have incredible staff, service and learning at every turn. More important, Mission College needs you as well. If you are a student at Mission College we may call upon you to serve in a leadership role, or mentor others, or be part of an internship or stewardship program within our community.
