How to enroll in a Distance Learning course

Interested in taking a distance learning course at Mission College? We offer a variety of online and telecourses that you can take to complete a degree, certificate, or for transfer to Cal State or University of California. Getting started is simple if you complete the following steps:

 

Steps to Getting Started
  1. Check the Distance Learning Schedule of Classes.
Download the course syllabus and note orientation date, time, and location. To see all courses, go to MyWebServices.
  1. Apply for admission
 
  1. Register for classes with MyWebServices
Make sure your current email address is entered in MyWebServices.
  1. Purchase textbooks
Check with your instructor to determine if your textbook requires a pin access code for online materials.
  1. Attend course orientation
Check the cablecast schedule for television courses.
  1. Complete ANGEL Student Tutorials
Download the "Getting Started with ANGEL" brochure.

 

What is ANGEL Learning?

Angel Learning is a course management system adopted by Mission College for all classes. When you log into the system, you will see a listing of classes that you are currently enrolled. ANGEL includes all of the course materials and communications resources you will need to be successful in your distance learning courses.

How to Login to ANGEL

  1. Go to the Angel Login Page.
  2. Type your Username and Password in the appropriate fields.
     
    Note: Your username is your Student ID number. You can find your Student ID number on the front of your student ID card. Your password is birth date (mmddyy). For example, if your birthdate is March 10, 1984, then your password is 031084.
  3. Click the Log On button.

ANGEL Support
