Are you interested in using multimedia (simulations, games, video, audio, or Podcasting to enhance your course? Then the Mission College Multimedia Development Center (MDC) is your solution! The MDC is available to all faculty interested in developing multimedia to support instructional activities.

Common uses of the MDC include production of:

  • Online Course Materials (PDF, Word, Excel)

Test Pilot is the most sophisticated and cost effective assessment tool available today. Creating and using computerized tests is a breeze with Test Pilot! Test Pilot runs on the Mission College web server, so users have access to tests and surveys anytime they have access to a personal computer and the Internet. Manila is an easy to use Content Management System that allows you create and edit a Web site while using a Web browser like Internet Explorer or Netscape. Manila uses templates and a simple web editor to allow you to develop a web page as easily as you create a word-processed document. CCCConfer

Meet with faculty, staff, and students in real time, in groups of two or even hundreds—with just a PC, a telephone and an Internet connection. CCCConfer is the California Community Colleges system’s FREE Web and phone-based collaboration service. You can conduct your meetings, training's, classes and events at a moment's notice, anytime, anywhere without traveling. Share documents, presentations, poll your audience and use a white board for taking notes. There are public and private chat features and the ability to archive the entire meeting for later playback. MERLOT

The MERLOT Project is a collaboration among 22 higher education institutions and systems, including California's community colleges.
