Mission College PROCESS FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS INTERESTED IN ARTICULATION TO MISSION COLLEGE Cliff Monroe Tech Prep Coordinator    408-855-5349

Articulation means that your high school teachers have met with teachers at Mission College to see if you can get credit at Mission for some courses you have taken in high school. Talk to a teacher or a high school counselor to see if there is a way to get credit for the course(s) you are taking. If the teacher or counselor tells you that the course you are taking is articulated, successfully complete this course by earning a grade of "C" or better. Before graduation (or as soon as you can after graduation) from high school/ROP, obtain the following: Certificate of Articulated Course Completion Transcript After completing the paperwork to enroll in Mission College, bring these two documents to a counselor at Mission for approval for registration. The counselor will instruct you in the method of registration to follow (in-person or telephone-registration or web-registration). You must complete 12 units of classes at Mission College within 18 months of graduation from the high school/ROP to obtain credit for your high school classes. Upon completion of the 12 units at Mission College, get an Application for Articulated College Credit from Mission's Counseling Department. Submit this, a high school transcript, a Mission College transcript, and the Certificate of Articulated Course Completion to the Admissions and Records office.
