Computer Lab, Tech Center

The drop-in computer lab is open to all enrolled Mission College students. This lab has over 150 PCs and Macintosh computers. In addition, there are 3 studyrooms with PC and Macintosh access for student groups or teams.

Students have access to 2 toshiba scanners, 2 HP Laser Jet 4100TN printers and 1 Epson Stylus Color 1520 Printer. Color prints can be purchased in the cashiers office.

The lab is located on the second floor in the Campus Center. A current student ID is required.

SOFTWARE in the New Media Lab includes:
Adobe: Photoshop with ImageReady, Illustrator,
Pagemaker, PageMill, Premier
Macromedia: Flash, Director, Dreamweaver, Fireworks
MetaCreations Painter
QuarkXPress
studioMAX
Strata StudioPro

HARDWARE includes:
G-3 Macintosh and Windows Pentium II Systems
Multimedia instructor console
Large screen projection

Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Friday and Saturday: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Sunday: Closed

The lab is dedicated to students enrolled in Graphic Design, Multimedia, and Digital Art courses. Lab hours are posted every semester.

Students have access to 14 new and updated PCs and 15 Macintosh computers. There are 2 scanners, 1 HP Laser Jet 5000IN printer and an HP Color Laser Jet 8550N printer available to students. Color prints can be purchased in the cashiers office.

Graphic Design students also have access to a font library and a wonderful support staff during lab hours.

The Graphic Arts lab is dedicated to students enrolled in GrArt courses only. Students have access to both PCs and Macintosh computers as well as printers and scanners. Hours are posted each semester.

Midi Lab, W1-205  
The Midi lab is dedicated to students enrolled in music and multimedia classes. Students have access to various MIDI devices (keyboards, computers and softwares) to create digital compositions for music and multimedia projects. The lab has G3 Macintosh computers, Opcode Vision, Protools, Encore and VST Plug-ins.

Lab hours are posted in the window.
