Clement became division chair for Math in Fall 03, replacing former chair Teri Chiang who is retiring.

Clement has a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Iowa. He has taught at University of Phoenix, San Jose, Salem-Teikyo University, Salem, West Virginia and Ithaca College, Ithaca, New York. He has also worked part-time for a computer company, Hybrid Networks. His outside interests include tennis, cycling and jazz. Clement was hired summer 97 and received tenure in May 2001.
