Online Tutoring

The Tutorial Center offers online tutoring through the College's Angel Course Management System. Students enrolled in IS 947 (Supervised Tutoring) can use the online tutoring site to ask questions in discussion boards, meet other students to join study groups, and practice multimedia lessons on study skills topics. Online tutoring is available for many subjects. Try it out today! In order to access the site, log into Angel at http://wvmccd.angellearning.com and click on the link at the left for the IS 947 course.

Online Accounting Tutoring via CCC Confer

Tutoring is available for all Accounting 1A and 1B courses using the CCC Confer service. This service delivers the tutoring via computer and telephone.

Stop by the LATC in S2-201 and tell a lab instructor what you would like help. After a brief referral process, students may sign up for a free, no credit course (IS 947) in order to receive assistance. Once you take the add slip to the Admissions and Records office, you will be ready to access tutoring.
Distance students may register for online tutoring and complete the referral process online by sending an e-mail to chia_chen@wvmccd.cc.ca.us

2. Click on “ Participants/Students Log On”
3. Click “Student Log In” to Office Hours
4. Find the event name: Mission College Tutoring Center Accounting Tutoring
5. Select the session you would like to participate in
