This is a list of computer software, audio CDs, books, and magazines which are available in the Foreign Language Center, to be used in the FLC by students enrolled in Vietnamese classes at Mission College.

VNI: Tan Viet 2000
This software is already loaded onto each computer in the Foreign Language Center. It allows students to use Microsoft Word while typing in Vietnamese. The software provides access to accent and other diacritical marks when writing in the Vietnamese language.

Rosetta Stone CD-ROMs: Level 1
Rosetta Stone is a language study program. It covers topics of grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure with interactive exercises and a recording feature which allows students to compare their oral responses to the native speaker to check for proper pronunciation and intonation.

Talk Now! Learn Vietnamese CD-ROM
Talk Now! is designed for beginners who want to start learning a new language as soon as possible. Handy for business and pleasure, Talk Now! introduces the essential vocabulary needed to successfully communicate in Vietnamese.

Let's Learn Vietnamese: Levels 1 and 2 CD-ROM
These CDs provide exercises and interactive activities for the study of the Vietnamese language.

GeoRunner CD-ROM
GeoRunner is a world geography game. It provides a fun way to learn geography and interesting facts about the continents, oceans, countries, and geographic landmarks of the world. The object of the game is to search the world for hidden keys to free the main character, Blit. The game has 15 stages of difficulty with seven different areas of the world in each stage, for a total of 105 levels of play.

World Book Encyclopedia CD-ROM
These CDs contain all the information found in the volumes of the 2003 World Book Encyclopedia.

These CDs accompany the Elementary Vietnamese workbook and lab manual.
