Mr. Dennis's experience in the Hospitaltiy Industry has been varied and diversified. While attending Jr. College in St. Louis Mr. Dennis worked at the Marriott Courtyard Hotel; starting as cook and advancing to Restaurant and Front Desk Supervisor by the time he earned his A.S. Degree. He also served as Cruise Director for St. Louis Riverfront Gateway Riverboat Cruises. Haze or Mr. Haze as his students refer to him, continued his education at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas, one of the top schools in the country for Hotel and Restaurant education. While attending UNLV Haze worked in various Hotel and Restaurants along the famous Las Vegas Strip. Hazed gained valuable experience in Fine and Casual Dinning Supervision, Quantity Food Production, and Institutional Food Services Management. Mr. Dennis's most recent experience has been in Institutional Services with ARAMARK and WACKENHUT, two of the Nations leading companies in Contracted Management Services. Just prior to teaching at Mission College, Haze was a Dining Services Manager and Assistant General Manager of Concessions at Stanford University. 1987 marks the year that Mr. Dennis choose the Hospitaltiy Industry for his career; however, his experience goes all the way back to his pre-teen years as he started at age 12 in a small snack shop on the St. Louis Riverfront. Mr. Dennis belongs to several Hospitaltiy Professional Organizations such as NRA, NACUFFS, HSMAI, NACE, FENI and CHRIE. In addition to instruciton, Mr. Dennis is involved in organizing Internships, Externships, and developing relationships with industry to provide work experience for students. Interest:
