DSPS Application Process (New Students)


Visit Mission College Future Students and read the important information.

  1. Apply to Mission College
  2. Attend a DSPS Orientation meeting
  3. Take the Academic Skills Assessment test (if you have a verifiable disability, contact DSPS to request test taking arrangements)
  4. Bring your disability documentation to DSPS and schedule an appointment to meet with an advisor
  5. Make an appointment to meet with a Mission College Counselor to create your educational plan
  6. Attend your appointment with a DSPS advisor to discuss the appropriate accommodations and student educational contract
  7. Register for classes
  8. Request academic accommodation every semester
  9. Meet with a DSPS advisor twice a semester
