• M.A. in Marriage, Family Counseling from the University of Santa Clara

At various times in her career, she has taught classes for San Jose City College and Kaiser Hospital in Stress Management and worked as part of a medical group doing counseling , stress management, and biofeedback training. She has a part-time counseling practice.

She likes to write short stories and rhymes. She has written and published a series of Stress Management Cassette tapes and had a short story published in the Community College FORUM magazine in 1995. She was part of a group of writers from the Los Gatos Writing Society who contributed their writings to a Chap Book publication.
