• Master's Degree in Counseling Education from San Jose State University
• Bachelors' Degrees in Social Work and Psychology from CSU Chico
• Associate's Degree in Sign Language Interpreting from Ohlone College

Mary Beth currently works at Mission College part-time in the evenings and weekends. Mary Beth is a member of several Counseling Associations and is on the Board of Directors for the Association of Job Search Trainers.

In her spare time Mary Beth enjoys stitchery, basket weaving and historical romance novels. Every year she and her husband volunteer as Sign Language Interpreters for the Renaissance Pleasure Faire (which is where they met).
