Mission College works closely with our high schools to provide an outstanding transition to Mission College. Counselors and other personnel often go to the high schools to help with decisions.

We host seniors from Wilcox, Santa Clara, Fremont, and Milpitas High School, East Side District and San Jose Unified District during the spring. In addition to a tour of the campus, students are given information on EOPS and Financial Aid, and attended informative workshops focusing on the application process and some of our most popular programs such as Engineering, Fire Technology, Graphic Arts Technology, Nursing and Graphic Design.

We offer orientation to Mission on high school campuses via our orientation course, Counseling A. In this course, students get information about the college, an educational plan, and testing in English, Reading and Math. In addition, taking the course during the spring semester before their enrollment gives them priority registration for Fall.
