Who Are We?

Who is the Connections Across Cultures Project?

The Connections Across Cultures Project started in 1994 with a network of twenty-six classroom teachers in California. Since then we have grown!
Teachers from elementary, middle, and high schools, colleges, and a university are included in the project. We teach a wide variety of fields. Some of us love math; some of us aren't comfortable with math!

The number of people who have worked on the project totals over fifty, in seven states. Most of the participants are American Indian, Latina/o, African American, and/or women.
