| The Connections Across Cultures Project started in 1994 with a network of twenty-six classroom teachers in California. Since then we have grown! | ![]() |

Teachers from elementary, middle, and high schools, colleges, and a university are included in the project. We teach a wide variety of fields. Some of us love math; some of us aren't comfortable with math!

| The number of people who have worked on the project totals over fifty, in seven states. Most of the participants are American Indian, Latina/o, African American, and/or women. | |
