About the BUS 055 Course:

This course is designed to provide an overview of business strategy and its impact on organization success.  Some of the topics covered include strategic vision, competitive analysis, strategic planning, business strategy implementation, and new strategic trends. Credit/No Credit Option. 

Student Outcomes: 

At the end of this course you should be able to

  • Evaluate competitive strategy in a variety of business environments.
  • Analyze business situation and determine best course of action.

This is a completely online class - all exams will be conducted online.

Materials Required:

  • Text:  Strategic Management.  Dess, Lumpkin, and Eisner.  3nd Edition.  ISBN#0073124575 or purchase an etext at online.
  • We will be using the Online Learning Center that comes with new textbook.  If you buy a used book, you must purchase online access separately for $10.  Call textbook customer service at 800-262-4729.
