Subjects we tutor online

In Fall 08, we are offering online tutoring for courses in Accounting, Chemistry, Computer Information Systems (CIS), and Physics.

Our tutoring is currently offered via discussion forums. Students post questions and comments to the forum and the tutors respond during their work hours. Students are also encouraged to help each other by answering other students' questions and forming study groups. Study groups can use our open chat rooms 24/7 to study together online.

How to start your online tutoring

Stop by the Tutoring Center in TC-2 (in the Student Center building) and tell the lab instructor you would like to register for online tutoring. After a brief referral process, you will sign up for a free, no credit course (IS 947) in order to receive tutoring. Once you take the add slip to the Admissions and Records office, you will be ready to access tutoring at the Angel course site.
Distance students may register for online tutoring and complete the referral process online by sending an e-mail to
