1)  Pick one book from the following list.

 

2)  Go to the Library and Review it there.

(they are on reserve at the Circulation desk - you cannot take them out - take your library card)

 

3)  Write a three page description which includes all of the following:

 

a)  which book did you choose?

 

b)  a contrast/comparison of topics with our current text and explanation of whether you think the topic list in the new book is better or worse for our class,

 

c)  pick one area which is  explained better in the new book than in our current text and explain why,

 

d)  pick one area which is explained worse in the new book than in our current text and explain why, 

 

e)  explain overall whether or not you would choose this new book in preference to our current text - give reasons.
