Mission College is ideally located in the safe, pleasant city of Santa Clara in northern California. We are in the heart of the Silicon Valley high-technology region, an hour's drive from beautiful San Francisco and the sunny Pacific Ocean beaches.

How did Mission College get its name? The City of Santa Clara calls itself the "Mission City" because the Mission of Santa Clara de Asis was built here in 1777, when today's "California" belonged to Spain. Mission College is, however, a public college, and it is a member of the 109-campus California Community College System. (more...)
