Mission College Programs for International Students : Admission Requirements

Students in a degree program in California must be either 18 years old or a high school graduate. If you are neither of these, please contact our office at (408) 855-5110 and speak to an advisor. If you plan to attend our intensive English program, we require that you be 17 years old. In addition,

• You must have a "C+" average or higher from high school. This is important because it is an indicator of your likely success in college.
• If you want to go directly to the degree program because you have an appropriate TOEFL score, you must present an official copy of your TOEFL score.
• You must also have official English copies of your high school and/or college transcripts.

We are sorry but we do not accept on-line applications because we require many original supporting documents. Send us all of your application documents together by using the mail or express services such as Fed Ex or DHL.

*If you press "I have a TOEFL score," it means that you have an official TOEFL score of at least:

• 61 on the iBT (Internet-Based TOEFL)

 

If you have a TOEFL of 500 or higher on the Institutional TOEFL, contact our office first because there are special rules for the Institutional TOEFL. We are sorry, but we cannot accept scores from other U.S. tests or foreign tests in lieu of a TOEFL score.
