Program for Students with Developmental Disabilities (PSDD)

What is the Program for Students with Developmental Disabilities?
The Program for Students with Developmental Disabilities (PSDD) is a division of the Community Education Department at Mission College. The Program for Students with Developmental Disabilities serves adults who have developmental disabilities from within the community and onsite at Agnews Developmental Center (ADC).

When and where do we offer classes?
Classes for the Program for Students with Developmental Disabilities are held in the Community Education Department at Mission College and onsite at Agnews Developmental Center. Classes at Mission College are typically held during the morning and afternoon. Classes at Agnew Developmental Center are held throughout the day and into the evening. Courses at both locations frequently include a community component in which instruction and practice in the areas of domestic skills, leisure skills, social skills, consumer skills and vocational skills is carried out in community settings.

Who are the students and what are the qualifications?
The Program for Students with Developmental Disabilities serves adults within the community who have developmental disabilities. Current students include students from the surrounding community and students who reside at Agnews Developmental Center. The Program for Students with Developmental Disabilities serves individuals who have been referred to the program either by the San Andreas Regional Center or by Agnews Developmental Center.
