This class will help the student develop basic technical skills in furniture design, construction and finishing. Emphasis is on individual design and innovative use of materials in construction. Basic supplies, equipment and power tools will be provided for the class; however, each student is responsible for purchasing their own wood. Prerequisite for this class is demonstrated subject/skill proficiency and evaluation by the instructor.
