Music Lab

Our music lab offers students the opportunity to practice on our 20 full-sized digital pianos, drill music theory lessons, listen to recordings for Music Appreciation and World Music classes, access a Finale music notation station, get extra help from music faculty and work on MIDI and audio projects related to the Digital Music Classes offered at Mission. The computer equipment has just been updated with the latest hardware and software including 20 custom built “Creation Station” PCs by Sweetwater Sound with Digidesign Mboxes and ProTools 7 software.

Mondays, 3:15-4:45

Tuesdays, 4:30-6pm, 7-10pm (practice rooms only)

Thursdays, 3:40-5:10pm, 7-10pm (practice rooms only)

*note: students may check-in at computer located in W1-205 while classes are in session.

Practice Rooms

We also have 6 isolated practice rooms available for individual practice by all piano, guitar, percussion and voice class students. Our practice rooms feature Yamaha, Boston and Baldwin acoustic pianos.

Practice rooms located in W1-201 are open Mon-Sat on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please check with an instructor for hours.
