Penny  Johnson

Vice President, Student Support Services

Penny Johnson is the Vice President of Student Services at Mission College and began her career at Mission in 2007. She came with 30 years of experience in Student Services/Instruction and has worked in a private 4-year university, the CSU and UC before beginning her community college career 20 years ago. Penny’s duties include executive administrative oversight of Admissions and Records, Financial Aid, Counseling, Transfer/Career Center, Student Activities, International Students, CalWORKS, AANAPISI, TRIO, EOPS, Athletics, DSPS, Student Health Services, MESA and the Welcome Center. Penny serves on Mission College, district and state wide/regional committees representing the college. In prior years, Penny has worked as a counselor, instructor, Director of Career Planning, Director of Student Development, and Dean of Counseling, Admissions and Records and Matriculation. She currently volunteers at the Half Moon Bay Coast side Senior Adult Day Care Center.
