Scott Brunson

Scott initially decided to follow his passion for food and wine by enrolling in culinary school after working for five years in electronics and five years in the liquefied gasses industry. After graduating first in his class from the California Culinary Academy, he began his career in the food service industry with a job at Icing on the Cake Bakery in Los Gatos, as well as at the Canteen Corporation, where he became the executive chef and, eventually, an account manager. In 1992, after three years in the food service industry, Scott began teaching in the culinary arts program at the Opportunities Industrialization Center West, a non-profit vocational training center in Menlo Park, before coming to Mission in 1999.
