Karina  Alvarado

Karina has been in the Child Development field since 2000, She has worked at Mission College Child Development Center since November 2001. Her philosophy for working with young children is that they learn through play. She prefers to use “teachable moments” where the children learn through interactions in the moment.

Karina was born in Mexico and moved to the United States 16 Years ago. She is married and has two daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, gardening, and taking her daughters to the beach.
